Whatever's going on for you right now, there's a way out.
It's genuinely hard to see from where you're standing. I don't hand you the way out, I help you find it yourself.
Usually the problem and its solution are hidden inside a complex system of intertwined elements: your beliefs, your established perspectives, the people and things and context around you, your culture, and it's hard to see clearly because you're inside it. I listen first, help you see that system, and then work with what's already there, freeing up the resources, instincts, and strengths that are already yours.

Our work together starts with me listening closely to understand your situation and your experience of your reality. I do not judge or provide counsel. I take the time to sit with the feelings and thinking underneath your story, with empathy for the emotions resulting from the dilemmas in your life. The word 'oriented' matters here: what I offer back might be a reflection of what you've told me, or my own reading of it, held as objectively as possible, before we start exploring solutions. Clinical hypnosis is often part of how we do it, working with the parts of your response that conscious thought alone can't reach.

Explore the Threshold FrameworkWhy this work
I'm trained in solution-oriented, strategic therapy, clinical hypnosis, and systems coaching. My experience with these short-term, transformational approaches is personal. After eight years seeing psychologists, I found what actually created real change for me. The work is brief, collaborative, and focused on your strengths and on moving forward, not on excavating your whole history. Clinical hypnosis works with the parts of your mind that aren't directed by conscious thought, where real change happens.
Much of what keeps us unable to move forward is misdirected effort, exhausting ourselves trying to change things we can't: other people, past events, how things should have gone. The things we actually can change are inside us: how we see a situation, what we tell ourselves about it, how we choose to respond.
Most of what holds people back isn't a lack of insight. It's the beliefs and coping patterns running underneath: ways of thinking and responding that were useful once, or borrowed from someone else, and never got questioned since.
That's the idea behind 'utilisation', a principle from the Ericksonian tradition I trained in: you're not missing something. The resources are already there. The work is finding them, and getting them pointed at what actually matters to you now.
That's what I help you do: find the belief or pattern that's quietly running your actions, loosen its control, and gain real clarity, steadier decisions, and inner peace that doesn't depend on circumstances.
What brings people here
Anxiety, burnout & chronic stress
High-functioning and managing everything on the outside, exhausted and anxious underneath.
Trauma & difficult past experiences
Processing the acute or cumulative effects of what's happened, and how it's shaped how safe you feel.
Life, career & leadership transitions
Navigating a significant change in role, relationship, identity, or direction, and exploring what leading authentically looks like as you do.
Relationship difficulties
Working through hard dynamics in personal or professional relationships.
A sense that something needs to change
Persistent flatness, a lost sense of direction, or a gap between the life you're living and the one you want.
When too much is protecting something
Food, alcohol, drugs, anger, or other ways of managing pain that hasn't found anywhere else to go. We look at what's underneath, not just the pattern itself.
This is for you if
- You're capable and accomplished, and something still isn't moving
- You've tried therapy or coaching before and want something that goes deeper, faster
- You're at a genuine turning point, a restructure, a transition, a question you can't shake
- You want help seeing things through a different light, not a diagnosis
- You're ready to look at what's actually happening, not just talk around it
Thinking behind the practice
Growth doesn't move in straight lines
Why revisiting an old issue is a sign the work is going well, not a sign it failed.
Self-respect is not arrogance. It's air.
What self-criticism actually costs you, and why self-respect isn't the same as arrogance.
What a restructure actually asks of you
It's rarely just logistics. Here's the deeper question most restructures are really asking.
