What a Session Looks Like

What to Expect

The Space I Offer

I offer remote and in person sessions, from or in a comfortable, quiet, private and luminous space. Sessions can go over time as needed. You set the pace, and you can pause or stop at any point. I respect you, your perspectives, and your dignity. I do not hold an agenda on how anyone "should be." I explain what we're doing and why at every step.

How Many Sessions

Some clients need only one or two sessions to make a shift on something specific. Others take longer, depending on what they are working through and how they engage. The approach is solution and outcome oriented. Most clients report meaningful, lasting change. There's no fixed program, we review as we go, and you're free to stop the sessions at any time.

What You and I Need from You

Therapy, clinical hypnosis, and coaching achieve results if there is commitment from both of us. This is a two-way process where we trust each other in the interaction and you actively engage. If I see something isn't working, we will discuss options to change, or refer you to another practitioner.

About Clinical Hypnosis

Hypnosis allows you to drop your usual barriers and understand your automated behaviours. During hypnosis, you're conscious and in complete control. On rare occasions there may be emotional reactions, in which case I will slowly bring you back. I do not use methods aiming at recovering or reconstructing memories. If you're involved in a legal matter, it's worth consulting a lawyer before we start hypnosis work.

I trained under the 11271NAT Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis and Strategic Psychotherapy (AQF Level 5). I've also completed Systems Coaching training, Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching certification, and Certified Organisational Coach training through the ICF (ACC level, since lapsed). My background includes a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and over twenty specialist certifications in technology and Agile. More details are on the About page.
